Funeral Services for Conan Wilson, 76, Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 3, 2019 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel officiated by Patrick Peters. Burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Conan Neal Wilson, Sr., was born April 7, 1943 to Charlie Nichol Wilson and Irma Lee (Campbell) Wilson in Oklahoma City, OK and passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019 in the Grace Living Center in Clinton, Oklahoma. Conan was raised in Oklahoma City and graduated from Southeast High school in 1961. He was employed with Fred Jones Manufacturing and later retired from Medley Material Handling. He attended his schooling at Oklahoma Christian College in Edmond then Freed-Hardman College in Henderson, TN and Oklahoma State Tech. He was educated in electronics and computers. He was married to Harlene Smith on June 28, 1963 in Oklahoma City then Janet Huff on January 15, 1977 in Midwest City, OK. He was presently married to Elizebeth (Wallace) Peck on October 19, 2007 in Fort Smith, AR and they have made Clinton their home. He was a longtime and faithful member of the Church of Christ; he loved to sing and he was instrumental helping organize the third Thursday singing in the Oklahoma City area; he was a member of the Western Plaines Genealogical Group, National Association of Active and Retired Federal Employees; he collected rhinoceros. He was preceded in death by his parents, a great-granddaughter, Cadence Russell and a sister, Barbara Burleson. He is survived by his wife, Elizebeth Wilson, of the home, four children, Neal Wilson, Tammy Rey and husband, Nic, and Jeff Wilson all of Oklahoma City and Ruth Anne Cherba and husband Valdemar of Florida; three step children, Tammie Waldrop, Edmond, Greg Peck and wife, Keri, and Laci Thomas and husband, J. all of Yukon; two sisters, Sylvia Avery and Elaine Carrington, both of Oklahoma City and brother John Wilson, of Tennessee. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
