Creola Irene Cline-Edmonds

Funeral Services for Creola Cline-Edmonds, 93, former Clinton resident will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 22, 2013 in the First Christian Church, officiated by Doyle Kinney and burial will follow in the Prairie Bell in Cemetery, Putnam, OK under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Creola Irene (Hutchison) Cline-Edmonds was born January 17, 1920 to Ralph and Mattie (Wright) Hutchison in Covington, OK and passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013 in the Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. Creola was raised west of Putnam and graduated from Putnam Schools in 1938. She married Kenneth Cline in 1938 in Taloga and they spent 50 years farming in Dewey County. She loved the farming life and the Aledo community quilting club. They moved to Clinton in 1986 and Mr. Cline preceded her in death in 1988. She later married Jarrett Edmonds on June 2, 1990. They traveled and spent 12 wonderful years together. He preceded her in death in 2003. She has spent the past couple of years in the Edmond area to be close to family. She was a member of the First Christian Church and the quilting club. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Imogene. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Butler, and a son, Curtis Cline and wife, Ruby, all of OKC as well as a step-son, Keith Edmonds, and his wife, Merci, Ft. Worth, TX; three sisters, Maxine Harris, Dallas, TX, Lila Fern Kluver, Clinton and Darlene and husband Pat Pilgrim of Yukon, OK She is also survived by grandchildren, Bryan and Darla Cline, of Tulsa, OK, Brad and Dawn Cline, of Tampa, FL, Shannon and Dan Anderson of Edmond, OK, Lori and Bob Fleet, of Edmond, OK Ronda Allan, Dallas, TX, Becky, Steve Disney, of OKC, OK, Shelly and Shane Graham, of OKC, OK and eight great-grandchildren.
