Funeral Services for Dakota Rhoads, 30, former Clinton resident, now of Lindsay, OK, will be held 9:00 AM, Saturday, July 22, 2023, in the Clinton Emergency Resource Center, (ERC), officiated by Pastor Gerald Panana and Pastor Delfred “Bunny” Whitecrow. Burial will conclude in the Clinton Indian Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
A Traditional all Night Wake Service will be held starting 6:00 PM, Friday, July 21, in the ERC.
Dakota Ike Rhoads was born December 16, 1992, to Rupert F. Twins and Mitzi Sutton Rhoads in Clinton, OK and passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 18, 2023, in Mustang, OK.
Dakota was raised in Clinton and attended Clinton Schools where he graduated in 2011. While in high school he was active in sports, especially football. He was employed in the oilfields as a Roust About and most recently with Venture Pipeline.
He was married to Courtney Cole on March 19, 2021, in Lindsey, OK where they made their home.
He was a member of the Life Church in Moore, OK and he was a member of the Bow String Society. He enjoyed sports, playing football, working out, fishing, and helped to coach little league football and baseball. He was an avid Oklahoma University Sports Fan and enjoyed any activity that they were involved in.
He was preceded in death by his father Rupert Twins, grandparents, Lucian Twins, Sr. and Patricia Twins, Elgin and Linda Rhoads, Aunt Feather Campuzano, Stepfather, Daniel Sutton.
He is survived by his wife, Courtney, of the home, four daughters, Kira Rhoads, Adrianna Rhoads, both of Clinton and Peyton Rhoads, Watonga, OK and Sophia Rhoads, Lindsey, OK, six sons, Jordan Rhoads, Kotah Rhoads, Zaadin Rhoads, all of Clinton, Jaxx Rhoads, Gabriel Break and Eastyn Break, all of Lindsay, his mother, Mitzi Sutton, Clinton, sister, Abigail Rhoads, Clinton and sister in law, Edith Hinojosa, Weatherford, OK, brother Linden Sutton, Weatherford, OK, Garrison Rhoads, Clinton, OK and Garret Twins, of Colorado and brother in law, Trey Elledge, Lindsay, OK, maternal grandmother, Mary Lou Stoneroad, El Reno, OK.
