Daniel Morgan Smith

A Mass of Christian Burial for Daniel Morgan Smith, 47, will be held 10:30 am, Tuesday, March 21, 2023, in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, officiated by Father Mandagiri Balaswamy. Burial will conclude at Anthon Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

A Rosary will be held 6:00 pm, Monday, March 20, 2023, in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel.

Daniel was born August 18, 1975, to Denny smith and Therese (Raab) Smith in Thomas, OK and passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023 at his rural home in Custer City, OK.

Daniel was raised in Custer City and Arapaho. He attended Arapaho School and graduated with the Class of 1994. While in high school he was active in horticulture.

He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church; he an avid gardener and he enjoyed doing wood working.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dennis and Elizabeth Smith, Tom and Elaine Raab and uncle, Joe Raab.

His is survived by his parents, Denny and Therese Smith, Custer City. He is also survived by host of cousins, family members, and friends.

The family has suggested those wanting to give a memorial contribution may do so to the St. Mary’s Catholic Church or the Church of your choice.
