Debra Kay Geesaman

A Chapel Service for Debra Kay Geesaman, 53, Sayre resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 23, 2015 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Jack Atkinson. Burial will conclude in the Carter Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Debra Kay Geesaman was born May 30, 1961 to William Rudolph and Ardis (Edwards) Geesaman in Iowa City, Iowa and passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015 in the St. Anthony Hospital Emergency Room in Oklahoma City. Debra was raised in Sioux City, Iowa where she also attended school. At a young age she began her working career at the Bowling Alley in Sioux City. In 1987 she moved to Sayre, Oklahoma to work on the Grey Hound Farm. She has always enjoyed cooking and doing domestic type work. She had most recently worked in the Piedmont School Lunch Room. She was preceded in death by her father, and three brothers, Jeffery, Troy and Brian. She loved children and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed redecorating homes by painting and remodeling. She is survived by her mother, Ardis Geesaman, of Sayre, OK and two daughters, Carita Geesaman, of Florida, Celeste Geesaman, of Oklahoma and four sons, Michael Geesaman, of Iowa, Tony Geesaman, of OK, Derrick Geesaman, of Clinton, and Johnny Harrison, of Iowa; a brother, Rickie Lee Geesaman, of Sayre, OK. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
