Della Dehart

A Chapel Service for Della DeHart, 83, Clinton resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 21, 2020 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel officiated by Pastor Chris Fields and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Burial will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 22, 2020 in the West Park Cemetery in Hereford, Texas officiated by Mike Roberts. Della Ruth DeHart was born September 16, 1937 to Henry Clay Dow and Zettie (Ray) Dow in Dumas, Texas and she passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020 in the Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. Della was raised in West Texas and she graduated from Hereford High School in 1956. She worked for J.C. Penney before marrying Kenneth Ray DeHart on June 7, 1959 in Hereford, Texas. She was a stay at home mom for several years and then she worked for a farm implement company for 23 years before retiring. She moved to Clinton in 2013 and Mr. DeHart preceded her in death in 2017. She was a member of the First Baptist Church; she enjoyed crocheting, sewing, cooking and her passion were spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother, Harold Dow and two sisters, Cleda Toney and Lois Webster. She is survived by two daughters, Denise Davis and husband, Wayne, Clinton and Michelle Adams and husband David, Dodge, NE and a son Barry DeHart and wife Carla, Clinton. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Candy Meigs and husband, Karl, Andrew Davis and wife, Chyrokie, Tamera Kisinger and husband, Chad, Tarra Janzing, Joshua Adams and Kali Adams; six great-grandchildren, Lizben Meigs, Reese Meigs, Nash Davis, Allison Kisinger, Kade Kisinger, Paige Janzing and Chelsie Janzing; and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
