Delma Mcdow

Memorial Services for Delma McDow, 79, Arapaho resident will be held on 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 4, 2017, in the Arapaho Cemetery, officiated by Doyle Kinney. Burial will follow, under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Delma McDow was born on October 16, 1938, in County Line, Oklahoma, East of Duncan to John and Lora (Lett) McDow, and passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017, in his Arapaho home. Delma was raised in Arapaho, graduating Arapaho High School in 1957. Delma married Jessie Swart on December 17, 1956, making their home in Arapaho. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He was self employed as a Dry Wall Contractor for several years. He was a member of the First Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Jessie, two brothers, Stanley and Buford. Delma is survived by one daughter Rebecca Wilson, Arapaho, OK, three sons Lyndon and wife Mary McDow, Clairmont, CA, Ivan and wife Terri McDow, Woodward, OK, and Randy and wife Mona McDow, Altus, OK; one sister Margie Swart, Sayre, OK He is also survived by six grandchildren Timothy and wife Patricia McDow, Amarillo, TX, Jeffery and LaShaya, Arapaho, OK, Jeremy and wife Tamara, Clinton, OK, Brenna and husband Ian Byers, Oklahoma City, OK. Jessica and husband Dayton, Kansas, and Thomas McDow, Woodward, OK, and 9 great grandchildren, and a special friend Eva Smith.
