Chapel Services for Delores A. Fair, 69, Clinton resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday, October 29, 2012 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel officiated by Jerry Raab and burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Military Honors will be presented by Ft. Sill Honor Guard. Delores Abston Fair was born April 19, 1943 to Eddie Hayes Abston and Leona (Thompson) Abston in Crowell, TX and passed away Thursday, October 25, 2012 in the Veterans Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. Delores was raised in Vernon, TX and graduated from Vernon High School in 1961. She soon attended Cosmetology School in Wichita Falls, TX. She enlisted in the U.S. Army in September of 1964 and served honorably until March of 1966. She was married to Jerry R. Fair on October 9, 1965 in Ft. Hood, TX and they made their home in Ft. Hood until they moved to Clinton in 1977. She was employed for a short time at the Clinton Veterans Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Eddie Abston, Jr. and two sisters, Winona Hopkins and Ramona Collingsworth. She was a member of the Church of Christ; she enjoyed playing on computers. She is survived by her husband, Jerry, of the home, a daughter, Tammy Pauling and husband, Jeff, Clinton and two sons, Jerry Fair, Jr., Woodward and Eric Fair and wife, Mandy, husband, Paul Woodward. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Erica Fair and Emalee Fair, both of Woodward.
