Deloris F. Schapansky

Deloris F. (Ernst) Schapansky, age 85, of Clinton, OK passed away peacefully Sunday, March 28th 2021 in her home. She was a graduate of Clinton High School in 1954 and married her sweetheart Ray of 67 years on February 25th 1954. She was baptized at Peace Lutheran Church in Bessie, OK in 1936 and worked at Oklahoma Bank & Trust from 1979 to 1993. She was a woman of many trades but especially enjoyed cooking, cleaning, sewing, gardening and traveling all 50 states with her husband Ray. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was preceded in death by her father Adam Ernst and mother Ida Stehr, sons Ricky and Terry, daughter-in law, Yolanda and brother Aldean Ernst. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Ray Schapansky of Clinton, OK; daughter Debbie Meadows and husband Rusty of Elk City, OK; son Tony Schapansky and wife Teresita Rose of Clinton, OK; brother Norman Stehr and wife Charlotte of Clinton, OK; brother Freddie Stehr and wife Jaree of Clinton, OK; sister in law Jane Ernst and is also survived by grandchildren Alisha Caldwell and husband Courvoisier “Boogie” of Elk City, OK; Cody Meadows and wife Ashley of Elk City, OK; Casey Meadows and wife Linda of Elk City, OK; Lucretia Schapansky of Cordell, OK; Chazz Schapansky and wife Isabel of Oklahoma City, OK; Chloee Thomas and husband Ameer of Oklahoma City, OK; Destiny Schapansky of Clinton, OK as well as 12 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and lots of family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 1st, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 440 S 13th St, Clinton, OK with Pastor Jerry Lamb officiating with a burial at Clinton Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 12-8 PM and Wednesday from 8 AM to 8 PM at Kiesau Lee Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Lutheran World Relief.
