We lost our beloved Dennis on August 12, 2020, a father, a brother, a son, an uncle, and friend to many, he will be missed every moment for the rest of our lives. Dennis passed away due to Brain Tumor surgery complications at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK and under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Dennis grew up in Southwest Oklahoma on a farm where he worked from a young age with the Winsett families farming and ranching. He attended Southside School and OSU Okmulgee Tech. As a young boy he could be found trying anything just to see if he could. Dennis had a gypsy spirit and traveled all over the USA meeting people in low and high places and treating them all the same, he had a heart of gold and a smile that would light up your day. Dennis was the main cook on holidays helping his mother, he knew all the family recipes, he enjoyed working with his hands and could do anything or easily learn anything, he was very intelligent with numbers. He loved fishing, golfing, and daily gathering to watch jeopardy with his friends. Dennis even mined for gold in New Mexico with friends on white sand missile range which was government property and experienced a few exciting events there! Dennis always lived life his way, all the way to the fullest, the "Winsett Strong Way." What Dennis loved most in this world was spending time with his family, especially his . grandchildren , Riley Jo and Wyatt James, the pure joy of his life. He kept their framed photos on his kitchen table so he could eat his meals seeing their faces.
