Donald Floyd Kisinger

Funeral Services for Donald Kisinger, 86, Arapaho resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, November 1, 2021, in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Doyle Kinney. Burial will follow in the Arapaho Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Donald Floyd Kisinger was born March 28, 1935, to Jessie Marie (Hix) and Hazir S. Kisinger in Clinton, OK and passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021, in his Arapaho home. Donald was raised and attended school in Butler and Arapaho. He was employed with his dad in the wrecker business. He married Betty Fancher on January 15, 1957, in Clinton, OK. He had an auto mechanic shop in Arapaho for several years. He also worked for the Acme Brick Plant for 13 years and he worked for the Clinton Public School and retired in 1992 after 24 years. He and his wife, Betty vacationed in south Texas for 24 years and was presently living in Arapaho, OK. He was a member of the Arapaho Baptist Church, he was a member of the Arapaho Chamber of Commerce, and he served on the Arapaho City Board and served a term as Mayor. He was a member of the Hub City Square Dancing Club since 1964. He served over 20 years as an Arapaho Volunteer Fireman. He loved to travel, tinker with old cars and fish. He could always be found in his garage working on a project. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Edward, three sisters, Margrette Fawver, Marie Burgard and Sarah Bloodworth. He is survived by his wife, Betty, of the home, two daughters, Lawana Stasiak and husband, Mike, Richardson, TX, and Michele Schreiber of Oklahoma City, three sons, Danny Kisinger, and Darin Kisinger and wife, Lynn all of Arapaho and Chad Kisinger, Weatherford, OK. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Falisha Ptak and partner Brock Matiaha, Clinton, Courtney Belt and husband, Landon, Cashion, OK, Whitney King and husband, Koby, Arapaho, OK, Cody Stone, of AZ, Amanda Murphy, New York City, NY, Allison Kisinger and Kade Donald Kisinger, both of Weatherford, OK; nine great-grandchildren, Memphis, Deegan, Creed, Emerson, Isaac, Zane, Cutter, Copen, and Addalyne.
