Funeral Services for Earl Agan, 89, will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Cornerstone Church (First Church of God), officiated by Rev. Roy Dobbs and Doyle Kinney. Burial will follow at Parkersburg Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Earl was born October 22, 1932 to Curtis and Lelah (Lundy) Agan and passed away January 8, 2022. He was raised on a farm near Custer City until 1944 when his family relocated to a farm west of Clinton. He graduated from Stafford High School in 1950 with 12 years of perfect attendance. Earl joined the U.S. Air Force in 1951 and served in the Korean War as a Flight Engineer on a B29 Bomber. While serving he received a Korean Service Medal and a U.N. Service Medal before being honorably discharged. He married Joy Moad December 26, 1954 and they recently had their 67th wedding anniversary. They made their home in Clinton and raised three daughters. He was a member of the First Church of God. Earl worked in the Clinton area at various jobs. From 1972-1992 he worked for Bob Smith Dozer Service where he was instrumental in building numerous oilfield sites and providing service for oilwell blowouts. He then went to work as an Asset Manager for Cudd Pressure Control where he oversaw the purchase and delivery of vehicles and equipment until his retirement in 2020 at age 87. He was a member of the local JC’s, Lion’s Club and lifetime member of the VFW. He had some land that he enjoyed farming, as well as raising cattle and llamas. Earl volunteered many hours of his time with cookouts to support the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and the Cadet Lawman Academy which brought him great joy. In 2010 he was awarded an honorary membership to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. He is preceded in death by his parents. Earl is survived by his wife Joy, three daughters Marsha Meeks and her husband Larry, of Clinton, Pamela Nance, of Yukon, Sandra Jackson and her husband Ronald, of Sugar Land, TX. He is also survived by 4 grandsons, Kurt Meeks, of Clinton, Colin Nance, of Yukon, Taylor Jackson and his wife Brittany, of Katy, TX and Colby Jackson and his wife Kristina, of Wylie, TX. One great-granddaughter Adira Nance of Yukon, and one great-grandson Lincoln Jackson arriving this spring. Extended family J.D., Macey, Deuce and Livy Lu Waller of Apollo Beach, FL. A special note of appreciation goes out to Dr. Robert Blakeburn, Dr. Bradley Nelson, Cordell Christian Home and the loving team at Shepherd Home Health & Hospice.
