A Tribute to the life of Elizabeth Archer, 85, Clinton resident will be held 1:00 P.M., Sunday, March 8, 2015 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Ann Clement and Melissa Goodblanket. The family will gather at a later date to have a private burial in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. By request of the deceased there will be no viewing of the body. Elizabeth Christine (Reddick) Archer was born (delivered by her grandmother) on February 4, 1929 to Nicholas "Nick" Max Reddick and Ann (Davis) Reddick in a two room log home in Tullokas (Tall Oak), Brooks County, Georgia and passed away Thursday, march 5, 2015 in the Integris Clinton Regional hospital in Clinton, OK. Elizabeth entered the work force as a minor and worked consistently throughout her life wearing many hats. In 1955 she moved to Washington State and worked both a Boeing Aircraft and doing seasonal work among the beautiful fields of tulips and daffodils in Puyallup Washington. She married in 1958 and gave birth to her only child in 1960. She was divorced in that same year and remained single throughout the rest of her life. Elizabeth served as a hostess for the famed Beacon House of Beef in Maitland Florida from 1964 until 1967. She returned to Georgia where she was employed by ITT Thompson Industries where she retired in 1987. Elizabeth relocated to Clinton, Oklahoma in 2001 where she lived until her transcendence. Mrs. Archer was known for her "Southern Hospitality" and everyone complimented her for Georgia Sweet Tea! She was gifted and talented in the field of horticulture growing beautiful plants. This talent extended to producing vibrant gardens that supplied fresh produce for her home. Elizabeth enjoyed designing flower arrangements using only the plant live nature provide. Wise in the practice of herbal medicine, handed down by her great aunt, she was also the home physician. She is preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Mah-hi-vist Goodblanket, sister, Dorothy Frances Reddick and two brothers, Raymond Reddick and Charles Reddick. She is survived by a daughter, Melissa Archer Goodblanket and her husband, Wilbur Goodblanket and one grandson Ahkl-ta-na-hi Goodblanket of the home, a sister, Nell Hopper, of Adel, Georgia, a brother, Harrold Reddick of Valdosta, Georgia, Aunt Peggy Davis Sweeney, Washington State, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, many friends and extended family. She was a true woman warrior; she was a mother, father figure, provider, counselor, physician, friend, spiritual advisor, and confidant. From the source she came and the source she has returned.
