Graveside Services for Eva Mae Igo, 93, Bessie resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, October 25, 2013 in the Union Hatchett Cemetery near Bessie, OK, officiated by Rev. Dean Derieg and burial will be under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Eva Mae Igo was born January 17, 1920 to Wesley and Edna (Hutton) Goucher in Cordell, Oklahoma and passed away early Tuesday, October 22, 2013 in the Corn Heritage Village in Corn, Oklahoma. Eva was raised east of Cordell where she attended a country school. At a young age she began doing domestic work and being a nanny for a Cordell family. She married Mr. Glen Igo and they made their home west of Bessie where they lived there entire married life. She was a member of the Bessie Baptist Mission, the Better Neighbors Home Demonstration Club; she enjoyed gardening, sewing, wood working and her passion was her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Garry Igo and his wife, Kay, a daughter, Faye Gaus, grandson, Gaylon Warren Igo, granddaughter, Sherry Johnson, son in law, Kay Igo, five brothers, Charlie Goucher, Lee Goucher, Arlie Goucher, Dewey Goucher, Alfred Goucher and a sister, Irene Schapansky and a son-in-law, Frank Harnois. She is survived by two daughters, Judy McKinney and husband, Pat, of Texas, Carolyn Igo. Of Kansas and a son, Terry Igo and wife, Diane, Bessie, OK and a sister, Juanita Igo, Clinton, OK. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren several great grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
