Funeral Services for Everett Crenshaw, 75, Burns Flat resident will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 10, 2016 in the Bethany Baptist church, officiated by Rev. Billy Mucker and Rev. James Callins. Burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery. Everett Crenshaw was born July 30, 1941 to Ida Pettus in Hugo, OK and passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 in the St. Frances Hospital in Tulsa, OK. Everett was raised in Gay and Hugo, Oklahoma where he also started his schooling. His family moved to Western, OK settling in Clinton where he graduated from Clinton High School in 1959. He continued his education at Southwestern State College in Weatherford, however in 1965 he was enlisted to the U.S. Army. He served a four year stint and received his honorable discharge and returned to Clinton. He married Mary Brown and they made their first home in Clinton. He began a career with Natural Gas Pipe Line Company in Clinton until 1979. He was transferred to Decatur, TX and lived there until his retirement. He moved to Burns Flat in 1995and has lived there until his death. He was a longtime and faithful member of the Bethany Baptist Church, and he loved spending time with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Leon Crenshaw and a sister, Ruth Crenshaw. He is survived by his wife, Mary of the home, two daughters, Kim Kellum and husband, Jose, Tulsa, OK and Dayna Munoz and husband, Jason, Ft. Worth, TX, three sons, Perry Brown, Houston, TX, Carlos Crenshaw, and wife, Julie, Denton, TX and J.R LeFlore and wife, Brooke, OKC, OK; sister, Clarice Lambert, Clinton. He is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
