Funeral services for Frances Arington, 90, lifelong Custer County resident will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, August 18, 2014 in the First Christian Church, officiated by Jeff McDowell and Dean Brookshier. Burial will conclude in the Arapaho Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Frances Barbara Marie (Jaworsky) Arington was born July 22, 1924 to Nick and Rosie (Miller) Jaworsky in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014 in Integris Clinton Regional Hospital Emergency Room. Mrs. Arignton was raised in Custer County, attending school in both Clinton and Arapaho. She was married to Paul E. Arington on August 1, 1942 in the Lutheran Church Parsonage in Clinton. They made their home in Arapaho where they spent their entire married life. They farmed together and they owned and operated the Arapaho Quick shop for many years, retiring in 1995. Mr. Arington preceded her in death in November of 2002. She had most recently been a resident of the Methodist Health Care Center in Clinton. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, she enjoyed crocheting, spending time with her family and especially spending time with her three great-grandchildren, Corbin, Ashley and Kinley. The Arington's were past members of the Hub City SquareDance Club, she enjoyed the Clinton Women's Bowling Association and the Arapaho Bunco Group. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Elston and husband, Danny, a granddaughter, Lisa Grybowski and her husband, Brett and three great-grandchildren, Corbin, Ashley and Kinley all from Arapaho, OK and a sister in law, Jewel Dansby of Terrell, Texas.
