Graveside services follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Putnam, OK under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Frances Louise (Irvin) Beadles was born February 26, 1922 to Emmitt Alvin Irvin and Minnie Florence (Loy) Irvin in Putnam, Oklahoma and passed away Sunday March 20, 2016 in the Rivermont Gardens Assisted Living facility in Norman, Oklahoma. Frances was raised in Putnam, Oklahoma on the family farm where she enjoyed her childhood and created lifelong memories. One of her greatest memories is at an early age Frances when she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. It was during her time in school at Putnam that she began dating the love of her life, Roy Harrison Beadles. In 1940 she graduated from Putnam High School; on January 8, 1941 Frances and Roy were married in Clinton, Oklahoma. After marriage the couple lived in Putnam, Oklahoma and began a lifetime of farming and ranching together. While living on the family farm, Frances and Roy had four children all born in Clinton, Oklahoma. The first of four was Alvin Roy Beadles, born January 18, 1943, four years later; Gary Beadles was born on June 4, 1947. This was a very significant year for Frances as she recalled and shared many times, while she was expecting Gary, this was the first time she read the Bible completely from cover to cover. She was a firm believer that we should write God's word on our heart that we might not sin against him. Frances had her first girl to add to the family when Glenda Louise (Beadles) Thomas was born January 25, 1950. Almost 10 years later, the family was in for a surprise when their final addition Shirley Renee' Beadles was born on July 4, 1960. The family all lived together on the family farm until 1964 when the Putnam School was considering closing. It was at this time that Roy and Frances, with one graduated from High School and one a senior, to have Gary complete High School the final year at Putnam while the rest of the family would move to Clinton, Oklahoma. In 1964, Roy and Frances moved to Clinton, Oklahoma which they both called home for the remainder of their lives. If home is where the heart is their true home never changed. Frances love for her family, friends and church were unwavering throughout her life. Her love for the outdoors and God's creation were evident if you ever spent any time with her. She loved western Oklahoma and never tired of looking at the wheat fields and the cattle always watching for the blessings of God, whether those that happened daily in her life, or the blessing of a spring rain to assist their crops. It was because of their love of the land, that over the years the couple continued to add to their farming. While living in Clinton, Oklahoma they farmed in Dewey, Custer and Washita Counties. Frances helped finish raising their children while working a short time at the Custer Country Courthouse then a few years later with the encouragement of one of her cousins, Eulalia Lane to sell Avon. Over the years her love for her job became another passion. It was an avenue she used to meet and make so many friends over the years. She would travel all over Clinton and Arapaho with her sales catalogs and her samples delivering them while delivering a smile and a message of love at the same time. Any time over the 40 plus years while selling Avon that she encountered anyone with a problem or a need she would try to help. Numerous are the times that she prayed with friends about their concerns and shared God's message. She earned status in the Avon Presidents Club dozens of time while promoting and selling Avon products. For over 50 years Frances has been a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Clinton, Oklahoma. While attending she has been active in Sunday School, has been a Sunday School teacher, active in Vacation Bible School and an assistant for the Missionettes program. She never failed to ask a friend or a stranger if they knew the Lord. She visited friends and those in need at the Nursing Homes and the Hospital and was among all other things, a Prayer Warrior. If you were in need, she was the person to call. If she said she would pray…you felt it was from her lips to God's ears, direct line! She was famous for quoting Matthew 18:20, "For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them." She always felt God's presence near, but no more than when she read the Bible. She read the Bible from cover to cover 13 times during her life, her final time she was over 90 years old. What a blessing and example she was to both family and friends. She believed the Bible is the living word of God, the light unto her path. She always wanted God's direction and leading in her life, and no better place to go or return than to prayer and this word. One of Frances' other gifts was making everyone in the family know they were special. You were always her favorite in one way or another. Her favorite oldest this, or favorite youngest that… It was truly her way of showing her love for everyone in her family, one of God's greatest blessings to her, which she counted every day when she prayed. Frances is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy and their first son Alvin Roy Beadles and his wife and their daughter in law, Phyllis Kay Beadles of Thomas, Oklahoma. A final thought about Frances. She thoroughly enjoyed looking forward to and attending Putnam class reunions and her annual Irvin family reunions. She was a lover of God, family and friends and lover of people. Her love, hugs, kisses and prayers will be greatly remembered and even more greatly missed.
