Graveside services for Garry Wheeller Archer 94, of Butler, have been set for 10:00 A.M. Friday, May 11, 2018, in the Butler Cemetery, under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Garry was born in Cordell, OK., August 10, 1923, to George W. and Ellie (Wheeller) Archer, and passed away Monday, May 7, 2018 in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Garry was raised in Butler, and attended schools in Butler until he started working, as a Rancher in the Butler area. He married Laverne Grubb in 1963. Garry's hobbies include working on cars, Farming and ranching, raising bird dogs, fishing and most importantly raising race horses. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and 2 brothers, W.F. Archer, and Calvin Archer. He is survived by three sons, Kenneth Archer, and his wife Joyce of Clinton, Gary Lyn Archer and his wife Rhonda of Yukon, and Ricky Archer and his wife Callie of Butler, 2 step daughters Ladonna Wells, of Clinton, and Connie Haggard of Clinton, and 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
