Gary Benally

Memorial service for "Gary B" Benally , 52, will be held at 1:00 p.m. , Monday, October 13, 2014 at the Cheyenne and Arapaho Community Building, Clinton, Oklahoma. Officiating will be Gerald Panana, Gerald Watson and Paul Bear Track. Burial will be in Luppe, Arizona. Gary was born October 27, 1961 in Winslow, Arizona to Ben and Modesta (Charlie) Benally. He passed away in Clinton, Oklahoma on Wednesday, October 8, 2014. Gary was raised in Luppe, Arizona and attended Coconino High School in Flagstaff, Arizona where he was a Golden Glove Boxer. In 1980 he moved to Colorado for six years and came to Oklahoma in 1986. He was an auto mechanic and a welder as a profession. His hobbies include going to the river, riding motorcycles, OSU football, wood working and helping people. Survivors include his wife, Barbara, of the home; one daughter, Gherri Benally of Clinton; one son, Domnic Line of Clinton; one granddaughter, Aliah Adair ; and one grandson, Roderick Barker, Jr.; four sisters and and eight brothers. He was preceded in death by both parents: Ben and Modesta Benally and two nephews: Fitzgerald Beally and Myron Benally.
