Gary Harper Bighorse

Funeral Services for Gary Bighorse, 76, Clinton resident will be held 1:00 P.M., Thursday, March 23, 2017, at the C & A Community Hall, in Clinton, Oklahoma, officiated by Rev. Delfred "Bunny" Whitecrow. Burial will follow in the Clinton Indian Cemetery, Clinton, OK, under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. There is will be a traditional Indian Wake Service starting at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Community Building. Gary Harper Bighorse was born on February 4, 1941, to Fred Bighorse, Sr. and Laura (White Turtle) Bighorse in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away on March 19, 2017 at Alliance Health in Clinton, OK. Gary was raised in Clinton, Oklahoma and graduated from Clinton High School in 1959. He made his home in Clinton all his life. Gary worked in Maintenance at Clinton Regional Hospital for 20 years and recently worked maintenance for First United Methodist Church in Clinton. He was a member of the Indian Baptist Church in Clinton, OK. Gary loved the outdoors going for walks, he also liked playing Bingo. He was preceded in death by his parents, his two brothers Morrow Bighorse, Bobby Bighorse, five sisters Imogene Jones, Vernall Landwasser, Geneva Bighorse, Ruby Bighorse, Eleanor Bogker, He is survived by a sister-in-law Dulcie (Whitebird) Bighorse, Oklahoma City, OK, and numerous nieces and nephews.
