Funeral Services for Gay Nell Pyron, 83, Stafford resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 13, 2015 in the First Christian Church officiated by Doyle Kinney and Jeff McDowell. Burial will conclude in the Stafford Cemetery under direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Gay Nell (McAtee) Pyron was born November 16, 1931 to Richard H. McAtee and Emma (Schultz) McAtee in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away early Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in the Angelwood Living Center in Clinton. Mrs. Pyron was raised in Stafford where she graduated from high school in 1949. She was married to R.L. Pyron on June 1, 1949 in Wichita Falls, TX. They made their home in the Stafford Community and lived on two different locations where they farmed their entire married life. She had also worked in Clinton at Wheelers Men's Wear and Lady Adelta's. She was a long time faithful and active member of the First Christian Church. She enjoyed gardening, reading, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents her husband, four brothers, Frank, Harry, Gordon and Mark McAtee and a sister, Mary Jo Friesen. She is survived by two sons, Marty Pyron and his wife, Carla, of Arapaho and Max Pyron and his wife Judy, of Weatherford, a sister, Glenna Anderson and husband, Al, of Owasso, OK two sisters in law, Nancy McAtee and Judy McAtee, both of Clinton. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Shawn Pyron and wife, Katina, Amy Kliewer, Whit Pyron and wife Lindsey; and six great-grandchildren, Kimberlyn, Ethan, Emma, Garret, Ryker and Lenox and numerous nieces and nephews.
