Graveside Services for Gayla Weedon, 59, of Clinton, will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Saturday, January 31, 2015, in the Sunnyside Cemetery in Vici, Oklahoma. The service will be officiated by family members with burial under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Gayla Ann Weedon was born March 11, 1955, to Bill and Ahlois (Kennedy) Weedon in Woodward, Oklahoma. She passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015, in the Weatherford Regional Hospital in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Gayla was raised in Vici, Bristow, Wagner, Chandler, Sallisaw, and finally moved to Clinton where she graduated in 1973. She continued her education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma, and accomplished a degree in Accounting. She worked in various areas of the oil industry in Oklahoma and Texas. She was most recently employed with USDA Farm Service Agency in Clinton, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was baptized in the First Baptist Church in Chandler. She was an avid reader, an accomplished seamstress, a talented artist, and she enjoyed working on family genealogy. She is survived by two brothers, Rick Weedon and his wife, Jill, of Arapaho, and Billy Lee Weedon and his wife, Perrie Beth, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She is also survived by Doni Albright and her husband, Adam, of Edmond, Oklahoma, and their two children Avery and Eli all of Edmond, and several nieces and nephews. The family has suggested those wanting to give a memorial contribution may do so to the Methodist Health Care Center, 2316 W. Modelle, Clinton, OK 73601.
