Funeral Services for Gene Ronan, 82, long time Clinton auto-mechanic will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 26, 2013 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Charlie Murphy and burial will conclude in the Greenwood Cemetery in Weathered, OK under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Myron Gene Ronan was born August 29, 1930 to Clyde and Opal (Livingston) in Richmond, Indiana and passed away late Thursday, August 22, 2013 in the Grace Living Center in Clinton. Gene was raised in Richmond, IN where he also attended High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force joining in 1950 and served during the Korean War. He was stationed in Germany as well as Madison, Wisconsin and Wichita Falls, TX. He was married to Donna Sullivan on June 16, 1951. He was honorably discharged from the Air Force in 1953. They made their home in Richmond, Indiana for the first nine years of their marriage. He worked for a major lawn mower manufacturing company until they moved to Clinton in 1962. He owned and operated his own auto mechanic shop in Clinton until recent when failing health forced his retirement. Working was his hobby as well as race cars. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Evelyn Weimer. He is survived by his wife, Donna, of the home, three sons, Gary Ronan and wife, Glenda, of Weatherford, Mark Ronan and Scott Ronan, both of Clinton, a brother Darrell Ronan and his wife, Wanda, of Richmond, IN. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Ashley, Alex, Hannah, Holly, Jessica.
