Funeral Services for George "Butch" Fancher, II, 73, former Butler resident will be held 10:00 A.M, Friday, March 13, 2015 in the Butler Baptist Church officiated by Patrick Peters. Burial will follow in the Butler Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. George Herschel Fancher, II was born January 25, 1942 to George H. and Viola Mae [Baker] Fanscher in Clinton, OK and passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in Integris Baptist Hospital in Edmond, Oklahoma. "Butch" was raised in the Butler community and graduated from Butler High school in 1959. He was employed with United States Post Office and served 37 years retiring in 2007. He was married to Stormie Young and she preceded him in death and he later married Marilyn F. Crutchfield on August 14, 1992. He was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church in Edmond. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching bull riding and was an avid Oklahoma University Sooners Fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, his son, George Fancher, III. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn of the home, two step daughters, Tammy White and husband, Royston, of Edmond, Julie Morton, of Wellston, OK; brother in law, Leon Whittington, Butler; three grandchildren, Austin Morton, Michaela Morton and Dustin Murchison four nephews.
