George Fancher

Funeral Services for George "Little George" Fancher, 41, Edmond resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, July 25, 2014 in the Butler Baptist Church, officiated by Patrick Peters. Burial will conclude in the Butler Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. George Herschell Fancher, III was born January 2, 1973 to George Herschell Fancher, Jr. and Stormie Ann (Donahoo) Fancher in Oklahoma City, OK and passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in the Oklahoma University Hospital in Oklahoma City. "Little George" was raised in Yukon, Oklahoma where he attended school. After his school years he was the caregiver for his mother who suffered from a kidney disease and was on kidney dialysis until her death. He then began a career with Cox Cable Company in the Customer Service Department. He was married to Cathy Lynn Hartman on December 4, 1999 in Eureka Springs, AR. They made their home in the Edmond area. He has been in failing health for the past few years suffering also from kidney failure. He was a member of the Wilshire Church of Christ in Oklahoma, he enjoyed reading and working on computers. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1992. He is survived by his wife, of the Edmond home, his father and step mother, George "Butch" Fancher, Jr., and Marilyn of Edmond, two step brothers and two step sisters, two nephews, a niece and many cousins, aunts, uncles and other family members.
