Funeral Services for Ginny Schilberg, 78, Clinton resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 9, 2017 in the First Christian Church, officiated by Doyle Kinney and Willie Coop. Burial will follow in the Union Hatchett Cemetery near Bessie, OK under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Virginia Lea Schilberg was born September 29, 1938 to Roy Slyter and Marie Hannah Slyter in Omaha, NE and passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017 in the Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City. Ginny as she is known by friends and family was raised in Omaha, NE and graduated from high school in 1956. She enlisted in the U.S. Air Force for a short stint. She moved to Oklahoma and settled in Clinton in the early 1960's. She was employed at the OK Turkey Plant; she also worked at the old Oklahoma General Hospital as an X-Ray Technician. When she started her family she became a stay at home mom until her children started to school and then she a began a career at the Clinton High School where she stayed for 18 years, retiring in 1997. She was a member of the First Christian Church; she loved to play golf, attend her grandchildren's activities and was an avid fan of Red Tornado football. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Jack Slyter and a sister, Carolyn Youts. She is survived by her husband, Paul, of the home, two daughters, Kristy Schilberg-Van Allen, Clinton and Kanda Ramos and husband Miguel Saracho, OKC, OK. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Luis Paul Ramos, Tony Ramos, Jacob Ramos, Braidon Van Allen and Aryana Pugh, as well as several nieces and nephews.
