Glorya Jean Wilmoth

Memorial Service for Glorya Wilmoth, 76, Carnegie resident and former Elk City resident will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday, March 12, 2021 in the First Church of God in Elk City, OK, officiated by Pastor Joe Thompson. Burial will conclude in the Fairlawn Cemetery in Elk City under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Glorya Jean Wilmoth was born April 9, 1945 to Francis Leroy “Sunny” Todd and Ruby Imogene (Brinkley) Todd in Elk City, OK and passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021 in the Corn Heritage Village in Corn, OK. Glorya was raised in Elk City, OK and graduated from Elk City High School in 1963. She married Robert Lee Wilmoth February 13, 1968 in Elk City, OK. She had been employed with the Jiffy Cake Shop with her mother; the Tiny Tot Pre School; Paul Jones Drug Store and she had worked as a nurse’s aide in several nursing facilities. She was a member of the Grandview Assembly of God Church in Elk City; she was a Lioness, Jaycee Jane, and was a Ladies Auxiliary of the Veteran of Foreign Wars. She enjoyed doing holiday crafts; reading books, listening to Elvis Presley music and watching Walker Texas Ranger. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Wilmoth; twin grandsons, Brandon and Blake Gowdy; great grandson, Tyler Hughes; brother, Leroy Todd, Jr.; parents and great-grandparents. She is survived by daughter, Melissa (Gowdy) Wilmoth, Carnegie, OK and a sister Deborah Barrett, Fairfax, OK; five grandchildren, Bradley, Sheereea, Kayden, Malachi and Trinity and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and other relatives including a special aunt, Mary Thome and a special uncle, Melvin Brinkley.
