Grace Elizabeth Everett

Funeral Services for Grace Everett, 63, Snyder, OK resident will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, March 22, 2024, in the Emergency Response Center in Hammon, OK, officiated by Joe Waugh. The burial will follow in the Hammon Indian Mennonite Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

A traditional wake service will be held starting at 7:00 PM, Thursday, March 21, 2024, in the Hammon Emergency Response Center.

Grace Elizabeth (Scabby) Everett was born September 29, 1960, to Rueben Scabby and Edith (Candy) Scabby in Guymon, OK and passed away Friday, March 15, 2024, in her Snyder home.

Grace was raised in Tipton, OK where she attended Tipton Schools. She married at a young age and her husband, and his family operated a carnival, and they traveled all over the United States. She was involved with the Carnival until the late 80’s. She later married David Everett in 1992, in Wichita Falls, TX. Her husband was in the Autobody repair business, and they made Wichita Falls, TX their home. She moved to Snyder, OK in 2014, to be close to her family.

She was a member of the Church of Christ, she loved to garden, cook, watch her granddaughters play softball, she was an avid sports fan and was supporters for the Oklahoma University Football, Dallas Cowboys, and the Thunder Basketball.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Dustin Whiteman, and sister, Virginia Ann Michael Scabby.

She is survived by daughter, Sandy Coleman, and husband, Jac, College Station, TX, two sons, Gregory Whiteman and wife Roxanne, Bryan, TX and Jimmy Whiteman, Waco, TX, and sister, Lillian Sandie Scabby, Snyder, OK.

She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members.
