A Memorial Service for Harry Percy, 88, former Clinton businessman, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 3, 2019 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Doyle Kinney and Rick Robart under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Harry Franklin Percy born September 26, 1930 to Fred and Mary Louise (Bradford) Percy in El Reno, Oklahoma passed away Monday, July 29, 2019 in his Clinton home. Harry was raised in El Reno and Stillwater, graduated from Stillwater High School and received a business degree from Oklahoma State University. In 1952 he was commissioned into the United State Air Force at the Salina AF Base, Kansas where he met Betty Jean Vignery. Harry and Betty married on February 27, 1954 and soon after that moved to Clinton, OK where he joined the Air National Guard, retiring as a Lt. Colonel in 1990. Harry and Betty owned and operated the Clinton Ice Plant from 1954 until retirement in 1993. In 40 years Harry grew the business from Clinton throughout Oklahoma and the Texas panhandle. He was recognized in the ice industry, a member of the National Ice Association, and since 1994 a Honorary member of the Southwestern Ice Association. In Clinton he was active at the United Methodist Church, a member of the Lions Club and a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity at OSU . Harry enjoyed sports, was a passionate supporter of OSU where he also played on the basketball team coached by Mr Iba. He enjoyed skiing, golfing and spending time at the family ranch and the family mountain cabin. He was preceded by his parents and his wife, Betty. He is survived by a son, Larry Percy and wife, Annie of Troy AL; a daughter, Catherine Montanini and her husband, Pierluigi of Hallandale, FL; four grandchildren, Brice Percy and wife Kelsey, Tyler Percy and wife Kara, Joseph and Jonathan Montanini. He is also survived by a special friend, Jackie Fields of Fairhope, AL. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity
