A chapel service for Hazel B. Weems Shindler, 93, will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 1, 2015 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Wendell Folsom. Burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home Hazel B. Weems Shindler began her journey into a life where love never ends on June 28, 2015 in Leonard, TX, surrounded by her loving family. Hazel was born in Celina, Texas, on February 8, 1922, to Cecil H. Weems and Dannie Bell Weems. Hazel married Arel Smith Shindler in 1938. Hazel is survived by her loving children Bobby J. Shindler of Rockwall, TX, and Shirley J. Bleeker of Leonard, TX. Hazel was a loving grandmother to 23 grandkids, 44 great grandkids, and 19 great great great grandkids. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers: Leonard R. Weems, Robert T. Weems, Hermon K. Weems, Frank V. Weems, Charles R. Weems, Jackie G. Weems, sisters: Ruby B. Kirby, Thelma L. Gressett,, Betty J. Weems, sons: Frankie L. Shindler, Edwin A. Shindler, Roger D. Shindler, daughters: Virginia P. Coppell, and Connie L. Dobbins, Grandchildren; Danny L. Loomis, Phillip G. Shindler, Michael Shindler Bradley D. Shindler, and Velma K. Shindler, and great grandson Blane Shindler. Visitation will be held at Lee Funeral Home in Clinton, OK, Tuesday June 30, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with funeral services held on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel at Lee Funeral Home.
