There will be a viewing for Herman R. "Dick" Dinkle, 78, Corn Heritage Village resident, will be held 8:00 A.M., till 12:00 Noon, Saturday, May 10,2014 in the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Herman Richard "Dick" Dinkle was born April 20, 1956 to Herman F. and Etoyle (Jacobs) Dinkle in Thomas, New Mexico and passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014 in the Corn Heritage Village in Corn, Oklahoma. "Dick" was raisedin Edgewood, New Mexico where he graduated from high school in about 1955. He was soon drafted in the U.S. Air Force and served two years. He received his honorable discharge and began a career with Furr's Food Chain, doing maintenance and refrigeration work. He also owned and operated the Edgewood Grocery Store for several years. He has been in Corn, OK for the past 8 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Fred Dinkle and a sister Juanita Sandy. He is a member of the First Baptist church in Edgewood, NM. He enjyed painting, fishing, horses and hunting. He is survived by three daughter, Tambra Tice, of CO, Sandra Gillman, of CA and Kelli Dinkle, of NM, two step sons, Bruce Dinkel, of NM andDavid Hill, of NM, brother, George Dinkle, Albq, NM and sister, WynnoraChilders and husband, Keith, of Las Vegas, NM and a brother in law, Clifford Sandy, Corn, OK. He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
