Funeral Services for Herman L. Windsor, 73, Arapaho resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 9, 2013 in the First Christian Church officiated by Doyle Kinney and Mike Holman and burial will follow in the Arapaho Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau Lee Funeral Home. Herman Lee Windsor was born December 5, 1939 to Charles and Gladys (Davis) Windsor in Oklahoma City, OK and passed away late Tuesday, April 3, 2013 in his Arapaho home after a courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Windsor was raised in Oklahoma City and graduated from Capital Hill High School in 1958. He began a 10 year stint with the Oklahoma Natural Gas Company. He started his banking career with First National Bank in Oklahoma City for a short time and then transferred to Elk City where he worked for the Bank of Western Oklahoma. He finally settled in Arapaho and worked for Custer County State Bank which changed to Oklahoma Bank and Trust where he retired. He was married to Nancy Lenaburg-James on January 14, 1989 in Clinton. He was on several bowling leagues and was proud owner of several perfect games, scoring 300; he enjoyed fishing and in his earlier years he enjoyed hunting. He served as President of Thursday night men’s league for 10 years and Associate President for the last 3 years. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Nancy of the home, five children, Sterling Windsor and wife, Valerie, of McKinney, TX, Regina Hazel and husband, Chris, of Keller, TX, Matthew James and wife, Mary, of Colony, Tyler Windsor and wife, Tori, of Elk City and Kyla Garibay and husband, Kenneth, of Arapaho; a sister, Peggy Carney and husband, Harley, Eufaula, OK. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Grant Hazel, Karleigh James, Grayson Hazel, Riley James, Katelyn Garibay, Ranger James, Kelsey Garibay, Tynslee Windsor and Tripp Windsor.
