Funeral Services for Inza “Pepper” Halford, 73, Clinton resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 17, 2021 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Pastor Joe Jackson and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Inza Geraldine Halford “Pepper” was born July 27, 1948 to Bobby Doyle Halford and Bernadine McCormick in Hobart, OK and passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 in Clinton Alliance Health in Clinton, OK. “Pepper” was raised and attended school in Henrietta, OK. She made her home in Stillwater until moving to Clinton, OK in 1990. She married Michael Hook in 1990 and they made Arapaho and Clinton their home. She worked at the historical Pop Hicks Restaurant as well as managing the Wear It Again Warehouse for the Homeless Shelter until 2000 when she medically retired. She has also worked as a Certified Nurse’s Aide in local nursing homes. She was a member of the Baptist Faith. She had a love for dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Bobby Ogle, husband, Mike Hook and an adopted sister, Willie “Rita” Allen. She is survived by two daughters, Tracy Davis and husband, Johnny, Mangum,OK and Saible Caldwell, OKC, OK, son, Tyree Kyle James, and wife, Shamika, Clinton, OK; step children, Michael Hook and Michelle Hook, both of Dallas, TX; adopted daughter, Doritha Breaux, Clinton, OK. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Aundrea Leal, Tyree Kyle James, Jr., Coredae Anthony James, Isaiah Kiing James, Legend Alijah James, and one on the way.
