Isidoro Zapien

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Isidoro Zapien, 88, Clinton resident twill be held 6:30 P.M., Saturday, January 21, 2017 in the St. Mary's Catholic Church, officiated by Father Philip Creider. Burial will be held at alter date in Kansas. Isidoro Zapien was born April 4, 1928 to Cipriano and Faustina (Armenda) Zapien in Chihuahua, Mexico and passed at the Alliance Clinton Health on Thursday, January 19, 2017. Mr. Zapien was raised in San Antonio, Del Potrero, Mexico and completed his grade school years there. He was married to Socorno Orduno in 1993 in Mexico. He worked in the mines and was a Taxi Driver until retiring and moving to the U.S in 2000. He was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, he loved lathe outdoors and enjoyed taking walks. He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Miguel Zapien, Sabas Zapien and Hilario Zapien. He is survived by two daughters, Maricela Ibarra, Kansas City, KS, Angelica Zapein, Chihuahua, MX; three sons, Cain Zapien, Texas, Abel Zapien, and Martin Zapien, both of Clinton; three brothers, Miguel Zapien, Sabas Zapien and Hilario Zapien, all of Mexico. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
