Israel Flores

Funeral Services for Israel Flores, 52, Clinton resident will be held 10:00 am, Friday, March 17, 2023 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by family and friends. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction for the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

Israel Flores was born August 8, 1970, to Willie Flores and Mary G. Sandoval in LaFeria, TX and passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023 in the Clinton Veterans Center.

Israel moved to Clinton with his parents while a small child. He attended Clinton Schools and graduated from Clinton High School in 1990.

He joined the U.S. Army soon after high school and served at Colene, TX and stints in Desert Storm, Germany, South Carolina and Iraqi. He was honorable discharged and made his home in South Carolina and worked as a diesel mechanic. He moved to Clinton and was employed at Farm Rail and later Sport Chaise.

He enjoyed hunting, Play Station and cooking.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Dana Flores and nephew, Devin Flores.

He is survived by his parents, Willie and Mary Flores, Clinton, two sons, Justin Flores and wife, Morgan, Burns Flat, and Daniel Flores, Clinton, OK and sister, Tina Penner, and husband, Derric, Clinton, OK.

He is also survived by nieces and nephews Bailey Penner and wife Jordan, William and Derrin Penner and Erik Martinez.
