Funeral Services for Jack Baker, 81, Butler resident will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 17, 2018 in the First Baptist Church in Foss, OK, officiated by Dean Derieg. Burial will follow in the Butler Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Raymond Lee "Jack" Baker was born April 27, 1937 to Grover Cleveland Baker and Bertha Gertrude Sanger Baker in Butler, OK and passed away early Wednesday, November 14, 2018 in the Cordell Christian Home in Cordell, OK. "Jack as he is known by family and friends was raised in Butler and graduated from Butler High school in 1955. He married Denise Fern Earles on June 4th, 1958 in Clinton. To this union one daughter was born, RaDonna Kay. Jack was a heavy equipment operator, working on many government dams, Foss Lake, Stanley Draper Lake and parts of I-40; worked for Bob Spillers of Elk City on many oil field sites and housing additions. HE also raised cattle and worked for Custer County District 1 for 16 years. He was a member of the Foss First Baptist Church; he served on the Butler City Council for 16 years, 14 of them he served as mayor. He was active in the Butler Roundup Club for numerous years. He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Loyd Baker, Glenard Baker, Melvin Baker and Junior Baker and four sisters, Pauline Rose, Beulah Klein, Lola Faye Miles and Melba Klein. He is survived by his wife, Denise, of the home, daughter, RaDonna Priddy and husband, Rick, Mannsville, OK; two grandsons, Raymond Priddy and wife, DesiRae, Ardmore, OK, Russell Priddy and wife, Lyndsie, of Ardmore, OK, one granddaughter, Renae McCormick, Ardmore, OK and one great granddaughter, Isabella Priddy, Ardmore, OK. The family will greet guest 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., at the funeral home, Friday, November 16, 2018.
