Funeral Services for James D. Story, Jr., 60, Clinton business man will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, May 11, 2015 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel. Burial will conclude in the Rosemont Cemetery in Okeene, OK under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. James David Story, Jr., was born July 28, 1954 to James D. and Ellen Story in Topeka, KS and passed away unexpected Friday morning, May 8, 2015 in the Clinton Regional Hospital in Clinton, Oklahoma. James started his young life in Mississippi and moved to Fredrick, OK where he attended school and would have graduated with the 1972 graduating class but enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1971. He was awarded his GED in 1972. He was honorably discharged from Viet Nam in 1973. He returned to Fredrick where he did his art work. He moved to Clinton in 1985 and was a sign painter and worked for Cherokee Trading Post. He participated in the operations of Omega 1 which is an Internet Provider in Clinton He was married to Cathy L. Kennett on January 22, 1980 in Oklahoma City. They have made their home in Clinton. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Rhead Story. He was a member of the Church in Oklahoma City, he was very artistic, he played the flute, and he loved camping and was a survival expert and was the rock and hero of the family. He is survived by his wife, Cathy of the home, three sons, Chris Story, of Yukon, John Toney, of Weatherford; and Michael Chadrick, of Cordell. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Kreedance Story, of Clinton, Bre Toney, of Weatherford and Isabella and Michael Chadrick, of Cordell.
