A CELEBRATION OF LIFE service for James "Jim" Johnson, 68, Clinton resident will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2014, in the First Church of God, officiated by Rev. Roy Dobbs, and a private burial will be held prior to the Celebration Service in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. James B. "Jim" Johnson was born January 26, 1945, to Emory and Alma Naomi (Bourlier) Johnson in Clinton, OK, and passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2014, in his Clinton home. Jim was raised in Custer City where he graduated from Custer City High School in 1963. He continued his education at Okmulgee Technical School and graduated with a certificate in Electronics going to work for Collins Radio in Dallas, TX. He was married to Susan Duddenhoeffer on April 6, 1974, in Clinton. They made their home in Clinton and he owned and operated Johnson Electronics until 1978. He started a career with 3M Company in Weatherford, later Imation, and he retired from there in 2001 as a computer engineer. During his retirement he was one of the few electric fence charger repairmen in Oklahoma, and he enjoyed farming. He was a member of the First Church of God. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, farming and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-brother, Richard Mueller, and a step-sister, Arlene Fisher. He is survived by his wife, Susie, of the home; two daughters, Christy Stephens and husband, Sean, Julie Adkinson and husband, Nic; a son, Brian Johnson and wife, Heather; and two granddaughters, Emily Stephens and Lily Adkinson and a grandson on the way, Sidney James Adkinson, all of Clinton. He is also survived by a brother, John Johnson and wife, Merri, of Oklahoma City; a step-brother, Don Mueller and wife, Candy, of Custer City and a sister in law, Kay Fischer and husband, Charles, of Custer City, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
