James Melvin Beaver, Jr.

Graveside Services for James Beaver, Jr., 49, former Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, August 30, 2021 in the Clinton Indian Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Gerald Panana and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. James Melvin Beaver, Jr., was born September 20, 1971 to James Melvin River, Sr. and Earlene (Littleman) River in Clinton, OK and passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 in the St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. James was raised in the Clinton area and attended Riverside Indian School. He became a Wildland Fire Fighter for the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma; he was a grass dancer; he was an Indian artist and tattoo artist, he also enjoyed doing bead work. He is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by daughter, KC Beaver, Weatherford, son, Rain Wasana, mother, Earlene Littleman, El Reno, OK; sister Bobbi Kaulay and husband, Jonathan, El Reno; brother, Floyd Beaver and wife, Sony, Elk City, OK and one granddaughter, Ayvah Ranae Beaver.
