A Traditional Omaha Indian Burial Service for Jamie M. White, 48, Geary resident will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, March 2, 2015 in the Multi-Purpose Center in Watonga, officiated by family members. Burial will conclude in the Lumpmouth Family Cemetery West of Geary, Oklahoma under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. An all-night wake Service will began at 7:00 P.M., Sunday, March 1, 2015 in Multi-Purpose Center. Jamie Marie White was born November 20, 1966 to Clarence Ansley White and Marietta (Sleeper) White in Winnebago, NE and passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015 in the Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Jamie was raised in Omaha, Nebraska and in the Geary, Oklahoma area. She continued her education at the Canadian Valley Vo-Tech in El Reno, OK. She received her certificate and worked as phlebotomist at the Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City until failing health forced her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a nephew, Larry Jones. She was a member of the Chief Cornerstone Church in Geary, she was proud of her Omaha and Cheyenne/Arapaho Indian Heritage, but enjoyed all Native American activities, she loved to go to pow wow's where she would sing with the drum and 49; she loved to cook and bake. In 1985 she was the Omaha Labor Day Princess in Dodge Park in Omaha, NE. She is survived by her sister, Lydia West and husband, William, of Geary and a brother, Clarence White, Jr., Geary; niece and nephews, Laura Jones, of Clinton, Autumn Eneremadu, of Norman, OK and Charles Jones, of Geary, OK ; three grandchildren, Joslyn Jones, Seneca Jones and Marietta Jones.
