Funeral Services for Janet Beers, 76, Putnam resident will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 22, 2017 in the Fay Auditorium in Fay, Oklahoma, officiated by Rev. Dennis Adair. Burial will bve 2:00 P.M., in the Fairview Cemetery in Putnam, OK, under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Janet Yvonne (Baldwin) Beers was born on October 26, 1941, to Fay and Ethel (Humphey) Baldwin on Baldwin Hill near Fay, Oklahoma and passed away on November 19, 2017, in Clinton, OK. Janet was raised in Fay, graduating from Fay High School on May 14, 1959. She married J.W. Beers the very next day on May 15, 1959 in Watonga, Oklahoma, from this marriage six children were born, Mike, Kavin, Renda, Marsha, Robin, and Curtis. Janet lived her married life in Putnam, Oklahoma where she was a homemaker. She enjoyed flowers, cooking, shopping, crafts, cards, and puzzles, most of all she enjoyed lots of time with her family. Janet was a member of the Home Betterment Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Carmaleta Taylor, one infant brother, Gordon Gayle Baldwin, and one great granddaughter, Jaysea Beers. Janet is survived by her husband J.W. Beers, of the home; three daughters, Renda Nappier and husband Jerry, Putnam, Marsha Cusack and husband Shawn, Ames, OK, and Robin Justice and David Feaster, Chester, OK; three sons, Mike Beers and wife Joanna, Kavin Beers, and Curtis Beers, all of Putnam, OK; two brothers, Arlen Baldwin and Leon Baldwin, both of Fay, OK. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Fay Community Fund or Fairview Cemetery Fund in Putnam, OK.
