Funeral Services for JB Couch, 74, Corn resident will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 18, 2015 in the Calvary Baptist Church, officiated by Tim Merchant. Burial will follow in the Corn Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. JB Couch was born October 5, 1941 to O T Couch and Viola Hilda (Harder) Couch in Cloud Chief, Oklahoma and passed away Monday, December 14, 2015 east of Cordell, OK. Mr. Couch was raised in Cloud Chief and attended school in Cloud Chief, Cordell and graduated from Corn High School in 1959. He began mechanic work right out of high school and he soon opened and operated JB's Garage. He was married to Mary Anne Vogt March 20, 1964 in Corn, Oklahoma and they made Corn their home. He began a career with the Washita County road crew in 1986 and he has served both District I and District II until his death. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Willard Couch and two sisters in law, Pam Couch and Ev Couch and his father in law, Herb Vogt. He was a longtime faithful member of the Calvary Baptist church and a member of the retired Fire Fighters. He is survived by his wife, Mary Anne of the home, two daughters, Jena Allen and husband, Brian, of Oklahoma City, and Julie Chisum and husband, Tyler, Hydro, OK; his brother Bill Couch, Corn and his mother in law, Ella Vogt, Corn. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Brittany Joyce, Bryce Allen, Derek Chisum and Toby Chisum and two great-grandchildren, Rylan Joyce and Raylee Joyce; his niece Renee Zeller and husband, Danny and their three sons, Rodney, Rocky, and Riley of Geronimo, OK and numerous other close family and friends. The family has suggested those wanting make a memorial contribution may do so to the Calvary Baptist Church in Corn or the Corn Volunteer Fire Department.
