Funeral Services for Jerry Listak, Jr., 56, Clinton resident, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 2, 2021 in the Clinton Cornerstone Church, officiated by Pastors Roy Dobbs and Jerrod Nunn. Burial will conclude in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Jerry Eugene Listak, Jr., was born November 30, 1964 to Jerry E. Listak, Sr., and Anna Waynette (Lindsey) Listak in Enid, Oklahoma and passed away early Saturday, March 27, 2021 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Jerry was raised in Lahoma and Ames, Oklahoma and graduated from Ames High School in 1983. While still in high school, he worked on rigs for his father during summer vacation. Upon graduation he continued his education at Northwestern Oklahoma State University (and later at Southwestern Oklahoma State University). He worked for Coca-Cola Bottling in Enid, OK before starting a full-time career in the oil and gas industry. Over the years he worked for Nicor/Adcor, Unit, Triad, and Apache Corporation, holding numerous positions and working in many locations including Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and Egypt. He was employed as a drilling consultant with Citizen Energy when he passed away. He was married to Kelly Jo Camden on August 2, 1998 in Miami, Florida and they have made their home in Clinton. Jerry was baptized and confirmed at the Zion Lutheran Church in Lahoma where he was a member. He also attended Cornerstone Church in Clinton. He enjoyed outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, boating, and farming. He especially enjoyed working on the family cabin in Angel Fire, New Mexico but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his daughters. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Waynell Goodnight and Ginger Wilson, three brothers-in-law: Charlie Goodnight, Mike Wilson, and Lou Vodry. Jerry is survived by his wife, Kelly; two daughters, Cassidy Listak and finance’, James Vercellotti and Kennedy Listak, Clinton, Oklahoma; parents, Jerry Listak, Sr. and Anna Waynette Listak, Lahoma, Oklahoma; five sisters: Jodell Vodry, Yukon, Renee’ Coaley and husband Jay, Lahoma, Oklahoma, Christal Skulborstad and husband, Mark, Houston, Texas, Tammara Waynette Listak/Shroyer and Greg Johnson, Breckenridge, Oklahoma and Terri Turner and husband, Robert, Independence, Missouri. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Oleta Camden and sister-in-law, Jill Camden, both of Clinton, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Corn Bible Academy (Grow CBA), P.O. Box 38, Corn, OK 73024.
