Jesse "Jewci" Mendoza

Jesse Manuel Mendoza, 32, of Thomas, Oklahoma, was a proud member of the Cheyenne and Arapaho tribe. His sunset was March 4, 2025, at the Clinton Regional Hospital.

Jesse’s sunrise was June 30, 1992, in Clinton, Oklahoma, to Ramon and Charlene (Lime) Mendoza. He was known for his warmth and kindness, often bringing joy to those around him with his infectious smile and vibrant laughter. Jesse greatly valued the time spent with his family and friends, particularly enjoying meals shared at restaurants. His passion for perfection was evident in his care for vehicles and audio systems. Jesse also cherished his role as a loving uncle, creating lasting memories with his nieces and nephews. He also loved cooking and preparing meals for them.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, LaVerne and Robert Lime, and his paternal grandparents, Petra Alvarado and Gonzalo Mendoza, along with many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Jesse is survived by his parents, Ramon and Charlene Mendoza of Thomas, as well as his sons, Tristen Plummer-Mendoza of Weatherford and Jordan Mendoza of Woodward. He leaves behind his brothers, Robert Lime and wife, Vivian of Clinton, Victor Mendoza of Thomas, and Travis Mendoza and wife, Kiyla of Thomas, along with his sister, Mary Burns and husband, William of Clinton; god-daughter, Azlynn Salinas; and girlfriend, Heidi Hill. He will also be remembered fondly by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

There will be a wake Friday, March 7, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, at The Crossing Church, 1300 Dunn Ave., Clinton, OK 73601.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 2:00 pm, at Cornerstone Church, 1900 Lexington Ave., Clinton, OK 73601. Burial to follow at Mound Valley Cemetery, Hwy 33, Thomas, OK 73669.
