Jesse V. Hayes, 82, of Zellwood, Florida formerly from Clinton, Oklahoma passed away August 12, 2015. Born May 21, 1933 in McDuffie County, Georgia. Jesse enlisted in the United States Air force and was stationed in Texas where he met the love of his life, Mary Ann Hemmer. Shortly after completion of his enlistment he and Mary Ann married and moved to Port Lavaca, Texas where Jesse worked for Alcoa. Jesse left Alcoa to pursue a career in hospital administration at Champ Traylor Memorial Hospital and after a short period of time moved to Austin Texas where he was the administrator of Holy Cross Hospital. While in this role he served on several committees for the Texas Hospital Association, oversaw the planning and construction of Austin's first radiology Clinic for the treatment of Cancer and spearheaded Austin's first outpatient/surgery Facility, Bailey Square Surgery Center. In the mid-seventies the family moved to Orlando Florida where Jesse managed Mercy Hospital. Then came Paris Texas where He was the administrator of McQuistion Regional Medical Center. In the early eighties the family moved to Clinton Oklahoma where Jesse served as the hospital administrator of Clinton Regional Hospital until he retired to start Medical Monitoring Inc. Jesse lost the love of his life, Mary Ann on December 3, 2007 and after a few years he moved to Zellwood FloriFlorida to be close to his two oldest children. He was active in his church wherever he lived as well as a Knight of Columbus member. He is survived by his five children John Hayes of Orlando FL, Joanna Pickering and husband Andy also of Orlando FL, Jeffery Hayes and wife Wendy of Austin TX, Jesse Paul Hayes of Oklahoma City Ok, and Jerry Hayes of The Colony, TX as well as six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Memorial service to be held 3:00pm September 5, 2015 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel in Clinton Ok, officiated by Deacon Bill Hough. Interment to follow in the Arapaho Cemetery in Arapaho, OK
