Jim Ricks

Memorial services were held for Jim Ricks, 68, lifelong Clinton resident Thursday, August 18,2016 in the Grace Living Center officiated by the staff and residents. A private burial will be held at later date. James B. Ricks was born February 13,1948 to Fred Britten Ricks and Dorothy Mae Pollett in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away Friday, August 12,2016 in the Kindred North in Oklahoma City. Jim was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School., while in school he was active in the Red Tornado Band. He has lived in Clinton his entire live and had worked in various places. He had worked in service stations and convenient stores as well as other odd jobs. He loved to work on his classic cars and spending time with his animals and most recently his pet bird. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by a sister, Sammy Flaming, from Artesia, New Mexico.
