Funeral Services for Jimmy Sevenstar, 43, Hammon resident will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, August 18, 2016 in the Community Fellowship Church in Hammon, OK officiated by Pastor Fred Lowe, Rev. Mona Bearshield, Rev. Samuel Otis and Rev. Dolan Ivey. Burial will conclude in the Hammon Indian Mennonite Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. A traditional all night wake service will be held 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 17, 2016 in the Commuity Hall. Jimmy Sevenstar was born October 10, 1972 to John Randolph Sevenstar, Sr. and Lillian (Scabby) Sevenstar in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016 in the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK . Jimmy was raised in Hammon where he attended school. He has been a wild land fire firefighter for the Cheyenne and Arapaho tribe for several years. He had made his home in Woodward for the past 16 years. He was proud member of the Cheyenne and Arapaho tribes of Oklahoma and enjoyed the many tribal traditional ways. He enjoyed putting together Model trucks, taking care of his cats and farming. He is survived by his parents, John and Lillian Seven star, his wife, Karrie Sevenstar two daughters, Shailynn and Panda Sevenstar, both of Woodward, sister Janice Garcia and husband Garcia; two brothers Wesley Sevenstar and wife, Selene, El Reno, OK and Johnny Sevenstar and wife, Joni, Hammon. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Ahkila Butler and three nieces, Araceli, Mariah and Arianna Garcia.
