John Franklin Patterson

John Patterson was born February 26, 1946 to Charles and Hattie Mae Patterson in Chesterfield, South Carolina. He was raised in Youngstown, Ohio and was a 1962 graduate of Youngstown High School, Youngstown, Ohio. He served in the Air Force of the United States of America and as a fireman in Burns Flat, Ok. He worked in the oil field also. He worked at Kellwood manufacturing till the factory closed and was employed at Bar S for over 20 years. He enjoyed being with people and sharing good times. He married Olivia Sue Wilson in 1962 and later married Rikkie Crider in 1998. He is survived by one daughter: Tica Patterson of Phoenix, Az.; one son, John Patterson, Jr. of Phoenix, Az.; one godson, Keith Washington (KeKe) of Clinton, Ok.; one sister: Ollie Clark and husband, Morris, of Youngstown, Ohio; best friend and brother, Joe Atkinson of Ft Worth, Texas; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rikkie; one daughter, Tricilla ; both parents; one brother, James Patterson; two sisters: Margaret Burnett and Carol Hill.
