Funeral Services for John Thompson, 48, Cordell resident will be held 6:00 P.M., Thursday, August 11, 2016 in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, officiated by Rev. Dale Nease and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. The family will have a private burial at a later date. John Howard Thompson, III was born April 18, 1968 to Phyllis Marie (Farrell) and John H. Thompson, Jr. in Chelsea, MA and passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016 in the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. John was raised in a military family traveling extensively through his young life. He graduated from Limestone High School, Limestone, ME in 1986. He was employed at a Plastic Company in Maine for a number of years before moving to Oklahoma. He began working for the Sonic Corporation as maintenance supervisor and later he transferred to Clinton and worked at Sonic until he was forced to medically retire in 2013. He was married to Aerin Michelle Felch on September 24, 2011 in Clinton, where they have made their home. He was preceded in death by his father He was attended Cumberland Presbyterian Church, he enjoyed race cars, was a big supporter of our military troops and loved the super heroes. He is survived by his wife, of the home, his mother, Phyllis Thompson, Amarillo, TX; son, Cody Thompson and his wife, Emily, Jay, Oklahoma and two step daughters, Katie Felch and Brianna Denney of the home, sister, Cheryl Milbach and husband, Gordon, Amarillo, TX and brother, Brian Thompson, Sayre, OK. He is also survived by a grandchild, Hattie Thompson, Jay, OK; nephew Logan Parker and wife, Karina and a great-niece Addilynn, all of Amarillo, TX.
