Jose Francisco Salas

Jose Francisco “Chico” Salas, 58, Clinton resident, passed away unexpected Wednesday December 14, 2022, in his home.

Jose Francisco Salas was born October 11, 1964, to Miguel Salas and Marcella (Perez) Salas in Lubbock, TX.

There will be a viewing 10:00 am until 5:00 pm, Friday, December 23, 2022 in the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

“Chico” was raised in Texas and Oklahoma and attended Clinton School. He worked on a seismograph crew and in the oilfields.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by a daughter, Amber Dawn Salas, Clinton, OK and son, Brandon Lee Baty, Muskogee, OK, sisters, Maria Paulita, Luz Maria Burrs, Marcella Axtell, Yolonda Clark, Francis Hines and Guadalupe Salas, brothers, Miguel Salas, Jr., Benito Salas, and Manuel Salas.

He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
